The artist

Your True Name is a danish born singer and songwriter, who draws inspiration from jazz, world, soul and pop. Her given name is  Julie Brammer - and you can read all about her and her project here:

As both an artist and as a record label, Your True Name is both a person and a buisness. She is an individual and a collective. She is a musician and a publisher; the mason and the artist.

Y.T.N. is a name only known by your Higher Self, and God, ultimately. It's your higher version(s). Your growth. Dark and light. Mess and equilibrium, nothing less, expressed.

Sometimes, the people who loves you dearly, doesn't even know it. Your true name. It's so intimately private between you and the Divine. Some times we touch upon it; when we rise in love, when we feel oneness and conection.

It's who you are, who you where, and who you are becoming, while you are being known, not known and getting to know and don't know, you know?

The Label

Your True Name Records is a newly founded record label, that is interested in working with up and coming artist from genres of world, spoken word, jazz, electro-jazz, rock and other alternative styles. We are a small label by musicians for musicians.
